Matapura Ellison, Chairperson

I am honoured to be Chair of Kati Huirapa Runaka ki Puketeraki and the runaka representative to TRoNT. Being the Chairperson is similar to weaving a tukutuku panel and I think my job is to encourage the skills within the Runaka Executive to come to the fore. The Puketeraki way, I believe, is the cornerstone for our success. I am very keen that an increasing number of our whanau learn about the value of getting involved in cultural activities.
